That's Little Egret.

Assuming it's the same bird, the Little Egret that has spent the summer up
in Maine is on the move, having gone from its long preferred location at
the Maine Audubon preserve in Falmouth to Biddeford Pool in York (35
miles).

If it continues its presumed migration route, that might well bring it to
New York State waters - as in eastern Long Island (only another 200 miles).

Just be aware that Little Egrets look very much like a Snowy Egret so be
sure to scrutinize each of those smaller egrets as you are out and about.

Find it, get photos, then let us all know - quickly.

Here's to a Little Good Luck to you,
