The Ovenbird continues at City Hall Park on the east edge of the Tammany Hall and City Hall buildings south of the fence where the Ovenbird was present when the Western Tanager was there last year. The Ovenbird has been there from at least Thursday.
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S33960658 Based on the images taken in December of the Ovenbird it's possible this is the same bird. The widening of the median crown stripe in the center of its length and the irregularity on its left lateral crown stripe are similar. eBird Range Map: Ovenbird (centered on City Hall Park) <http://ebird.org/ebird/map/ovenbi1?bmo=12&emo=12&byr=1900&eyr=2035&yr=&env.minX=-74.056&env.minY=40.663&env.maxX=-73.956&env.maxY=40.763&gp=true> click on blue icon to see all December checklists and photos <http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S33960658>-- Ben Cacace Manhattan, NYC Wiki for NYS eBird Hotspots <http://ebirding-nys.wikispaces.com/Birding+in+New+York> Facebook Discussion for NYS eBird Hotspots <https://www.facebook.com/groups/NYeBirdHotspots/> -- NYSbirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsWELCOME.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsRULES.htm http://www.NortheastBirding.com/NYSbirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/nysbirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/NYSBirds-L 3) http://birding.aba.org/maillist/NY01 Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
