The bird is indeed being seen near 712 Sandhill Road but this location is in Ulster County, east of SGNWR as the goose flies. Many thanks again to Bruce Nott for discovering this county first yesterday.

The road, though lightly traveled, is narrow at that site is at a curve limiting sight line distance for oncoming vehicle traffic. So appropriate caution is advised.
