Seen flying NE from the Parking lot at Valley Stream State Park with about 23 Glossys at about 6:10PM. Unmistakable, and seen back lit in great light just as I got out of the car. - Truly a gift.....All field marks match up perfectly, even its stightly larger size. Birders should keep a lookout for this bird at typical Glossy gathering areas to the east. NYSARC Report to follow.....
