Highlights: Black-billed Cuckoo, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, 10 species of Wood 
Warblers including Blackburnian, Worm-eating, and Prairie Warbler. Many fewer 
birds than two days ago, but an increase in the number of Chipping Sparrows and 
Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

Canada Goose - 2 Turtle Pond
Mallard - males chasing females Turtle Pond
Mourning Dove - 15 (8 at feeders)
Black-billed Cuckoo - Maintenance Field
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - Upper Lobe
Herring Gull - flyovers
Double-crested Cormorant - 2 flyover flocks totaling around 50 birds
Great Egret - 2 (1 Turtle Pond, 1 flyover)
Black-crowned Night-Heron - Ladies Pavilion (thanks to Stefan Passlick)
Red-tailed Hawk - Maintenance field
Red-bellied Woodpecker - residents
Downy Woodpecker - residents
Northern Flicker - drumming at Summer House
American Kestrel - hovering SE of Maintenance Field
Blue-headed Vireo - 7 (4 at Turtle Pond)
Blue Jay - still in small, noisy groups
Northern Rough-winged Swallow - 2 Turtle Pond
Barn Swallow - 1 Turtle Pond
House Wren - 2 (Upper Lobe & Shakespeare Garden)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 6 or 7 (4 at the Point, 2 at Upper Lobe)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 20
Veery - 1 Ramble
Hermit Thrush - 20
Wood Thrush - 3
American Robin - residents
Gray Catbird - 2 or 3
House Finch - 10 at feeders
American Goldfinch - 20
Eastern Towhee - 3 (2 males at feeders, 1 female)
Chipping sparrow - 25 (a dozen on Cedar Hill, 8 at Triplet's Bridge)
Song Sparrow - Turtle Pond Dock
Swamp Sparrow - 1 Tupelo field

Dark-eyed Junco 2 or 3 at Tupelo Field
Orchard Oriole - adult male Maintenance Field
Baltimore Oriole - adult male Maintenance Field

Brown-headed Cowbird - 3 (1 male, 2 females)

Ovenbird - 2 (Turtle Pond Dock & top of Oven (Sandra Critelli))
