While fishing today at the edge of the Rio Reservoir north of Port Jervis I had an adult Bald Eagle land next to the road about 100 feet to the right of me and just sit there for a couple of minutes until some moron came by in a truck and scared it off. Soon after an immature dove for a fish in the reservoir about 200 feet to the left of me while being harassed by a Red-winged Blackbird. All during this time a pair of Northern Watersnakes kept me company. Got to love the country:-)
