Ned is an excellent writer and that was a joyful read. It was nice to see the names of Long Island birding luminaires in "print", all but Tom Davis I have had the pleasure of birding with. One name that should have been in that list, one I think that Shai would have mentioned but for obvious reasons did not, is Pat Lindsay. So, I gladly do so and I thank Pat, Shai, Tom, and the others for all the great birds you have found. Even though I did not see most of them, it was great fun to hear about them!
Good birding! Andy had spoken with me about that day, but I wasn't aware of Ned's blog post. Lots to think about there.
