At Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City on Saturday, 19 September -

No fewer than 27 species of American Warblers were found, with multiple 
observers of all of the species. Additionally, a minimum of 25 of these species 
were seen in the Ramble & its immediate vicinity, defined as within 50 meters 
or less from the Ramble’s borders (i.e., such as the Shakespeare Garden, for 
one example; or the “lower lobe” for another).

Yellow Warbler (multiple)
Chestnut-sided Warbler (multiple)
Magnolia Warbler (many)
Cape May Warbler (multiple)

Yellow-rumped [Myrtle] Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Pine Warbler (multiple)
Prairie Warbler (multiple)
Palm Warbler (multiple; both forms noted)
Bay-breasted Warbler (multiple)
Blackpoll Warbler (multiple)
Black-and-white Warbler (multiple)
American Redstart (multiple)
Worm-eating Warbler
Ovenbird (multiple)
Northern Waterthrush (multiple)
Mourning Warbler (multiple)
Common Yellowthroat (many)
Hooded Warbler
Wilson's Warbler (multiple)
Canada Warbler (several)

Vastly more migrant species were found all through New York County (of which 
Manhattan is a part), including within Central Park, & a further report will 
detail some of those many sightings from the weekend & more, as found by more 
than 100 observers, & all of whom who follow the recommended guidelines of 
ethical birding - as known now virtually world-wide.  Many, many other parks & 
green-spaces had some excellent bird sightings on the day, including a few 
rarities- a few of those have also been in Central Park which are yet to be 
posted to this list-serve.
