The 6 Phalaropes from Thursday continue this AM on the East Pond at Jamaica Bay
Wildlife Refuge, Queens Co.

2 Wilson’s Phalaropes continue on the southend with another right now, just
south of Dead Man’s Cove on the northend.

2 Red-necked Phalaropes was just north of the Raunt on the East side and
another I am observing right now at Dead Man’s Cove on the northend.

2 Continuing juvenile Peregrines are shaking things up along with increased
foot traffic on the pond so patience is required if you are trying for the
Phalaropes.

Cheers,
