Highlights: a cold front moving through overnight led to an increase in the 
number and variety of southbound fall migrants with 14 species of Wood Warblers 
including Prothonotary, Mourning, and Black-throated Blue Warblers in the 
Ramble this morning.

Mourning Dove - 20-25
Herring Gull - 1 flyover
Double-crested Cormorant - 1 flyover
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 4-5
Downy Woodpecker - 2-3
Northern Flicker - 1 Warbler Rock
Eastern Wood-Pewee - 1 Summer House & Warbler Rock (Erica Rosengart)
Warbling Vireo - 1 Summer House
Red-eyed Vireo - 1 uphill from Boathouse Cafe
Blue Jay - 4-5
Carolina Wren - pair Shakespeare Garden, 1 hatch-year bird Turtle Pond
American Robin - 30-40
Gray Catbird - 20-30
Cedar Waxwing - 2-3 including 1 juvenile Upper Lobe
White-throated Sparrow - 1 Summer House (brown-and-tan morph)
Baltimore Oriole - 7-10
Common Grackle - 4
Ovenbird - 1 Mugger's Woods
Worm-eating Warbler - 1 Swampy Pin Oak
Northern Waterthrush - 1 Upper Lobe
Blue-winged Warbler - 2 (Swampy Pin Oak, north end Maintenance Field)
Black-and-white Warbler - 3-5
Prothonotary Warbler - 1 male continued at various locations in the Ramble
Mourning Warbler - 1 adult female Tupelo Field (first-of-season)
American Redstart - 10-15
Northern Parula - 3
Magnolia Warbler - 1 the the Oven/Willow Rock (Erica Rosengart) first-of-season
Yellow Warbler - 1 Persimmon Slope
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 5
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 2 males (1 Summer House (Sandra Critelli), 1 west 
of Iphigene's Walk) - first-of-season
Canada Warbler - 7-9
Northern Cardinal - 5-7

Sandra Critelli reported a male Ruby-crowned Kinglet at Shakespeare Garden on 
Saturday (Aug. 14), early for the species for Central Park.
