The Mississippi kites in the country knolls development in Jonesville, Saratoga county, are still present today and have been reported by multiple observers. Yesterday, several birders observed the pair copulating. Hopefully breeding can be confirmed in the atlas block.
The residents of the area have been interested in the bird and seem happy to have folks walking the streets and looking for the kites.
