The godwit appeared at 7:02 on the flats, feeding and preening with the gulls 
and terns. We were able to confirm that the tail and rump are barred as far up 
as we could discern, as is the underwing, consistent with the Siberian race of 
the species. Thanks to Mike McBrien for the astute ID from the original photo.
