Highlights: American Kestrel chasing a Red-tailed Hawk over the Grassy Knoll, 
Ovenbird, Black-throated Blue, Magnolia and other Wood Warblers. Thanks to 
Sabina, Caren, Andy and Neela for spotting many of today's birds.


Canada Goose - 19
Mallard - around a dozen
Mourning Dove - 5 or 6
Chimney Swift - 4
Double-crested Cormorant - 2 flyovers
Red-tailed Hawk - chased by American Kestrel over the Grassy Knoll
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 2 heard
Downy Woodpecker - 1 male Wildflower Meadow
Northern Flicker - 3
American Kestrel - chasing Red-tailed Hawk
Great Crested Flycatcher - 2 or 3 (one at the Pool caught a Spotted Lanternfly)
Empidonax Flycatcher - 1 at the Pool (thanks to E. J. Bartolazo)
Red-eyed Vireo - 2 or 3 along the Loch
Blue Jay - 3 or 4
American Crow - heard-only in 2 locations
Gray Catbird - 6-8
American Robin - 10-15
American Goldfinch - 1 singing male Wildflower Meadow
Song Sparrow - 2 at the Pond mudflat (Deb after lunch)
Baltimore Oriole - 1 adult male Conservatory Garden
Common Grackle - 2
Ovenbird - 1 North Woods
Northern Waterthrush - 3 or 4
Black-and-white Warbler - 4
Common Yellowthroat - 2 (female at the Loch, young male at the Pool)
American Redstart - 8-10
Magnolia Warbler - 1 (Loch)
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1 male west end of the Loch
Northern Cardinal - 6
