Today. Sat 8/29 at about 4:30 Adult. Small sparrow with chestnut-colored earpatch and black malar, curving up toward shoulder. White stripe between earpatch and malar stripe. Clean white throat and breast with single black central spot. Chestnut stripe above white eye stripe. Light-colored bill.
Was in the nearest hedgerow to the Coast Guard station.
