I am currently viewing an American White Pelican (AMPE) on the East Pond at
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It is on the Raunt preening and could be seen from
Big John’s Overlook.

I will refrain from pushing up north on the Pond so as not to push the AMPE
from its current location.

If you do try from Big John’s, I suggest you remain quiet and stealthily
approach the overlook otherwise it will spook.
