The North Shore Audubon Society (NSAS) general meeting will be held
TONIGHT, Tuesday, April 25th, at 7pm at the Manhasset Public Library, 30
Onderdonk Ave, Manhasset, NY 11030.


This will be a hybrid live/Zoom meeting.  All are encouraged to attend in

All are invited - you do not need to be a NSAS member to attend.


Our presentation will be: "*Jay Kookpix: Spring Migration in Nassau County"*
Abоut half оf thе world’s nearly 10,000 knоwn bird species migrate. This
presentation will include creative photos and videos of some of those birds
accompanied by bird songs and music. All  photos and videos were taken on
the south shore of Nassau County. It will include a wide variety including
shore birds, warblers, ospreys, egrets, cormorants and more. There are a
few mating videos.

*Jay Koolpix *has devoted most of his time since retirement in
nature photographing birds. He’s made bird presentations for the South
Shore Audubon Society, the Long Beach Library and at the Energy and Nature
Center at Jones Beach. He is now in the process of starting a scholarship
program for the South Shore Audubon Society - the “Jay Koolpix
Environmental Scholarship’’.
