The flock of Sanderlings, Semipalmated Sandpipers, Dunlin, and Red Knots with which the Curlew Sandpiper was associating took off and broke into multiple parts around 3:35. We tracked the CUSA as long as we could, but ultimately lost track of it. A number of searchers are on site and will likely post up-dates, especially if positive.
