Good morning everyone, Pete Morris, Taylor Sturm, and I had a brief look at a very vibrant female/imm Painted Bunting in Camp Hero a short time ago. It was in the weedy edges of a dump area which is closed to the public, but one can look in from the road. It was feeding quietly in goldenrod all by itself and then fully disappeared. One can pull off the road across from the dump in a clearing but be sensitive to park workers, probably better to find a proper spot and walk the road
