A message from Southampton Town at 1:30pm today - “Ponquogue Bridge is Closed Until Further Notice”. A follow-up message at 2:50pm: NYS DOT, during a routine inspection on 20 Feb, identified conditions that have resulted in closing the bridge in both directions.
