Had a single Common Raven over Rtes. 59 and 304 in Nanuet around noon today, then ten minutes later, at least two -- possibly as many as four -- being mobbed by American Crows right over Main Street in Nyack. The intermingled crows and commotion of the mob made an exact count difficult, and the building facades cut off my view pretty quickly as the birds moved off to the north. I've seen many Ravens in Rockland Co., but never anywhere but the more mountainous extreme northeast (Bear Mountain area) and west (Suffern/Sloatsburg).
