This is a belated post from yesterday. I observed the following notable species at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge: - American Avocets (2) - American Golden-Plovers (2) - one adult; one juvenile - Pectoral Sandpipers (2) - Stilt Sandpipers (10) - White-rumped Sandpipers (6)
All were observed from the 2nd spit.
