Hi All,
Birded CPK from the Pinetum to the south end of the ramble and back again.
Highlights included a scarlet tanager feeding in the honey locust overhanging
the SW corner of Belvedere Castle. In the tall elms encircling the north end
of the Pinetum, a pine warbler (not the greatest looks, but almost certain of
the id) was foraging along with a red-breasted nuthatch and a myrtle warbler.
1-2 eastern bluebirds at the Upper Lobe.
At Sparrow Rock, juncos were numerous and there was one field sparrow with them.
Good Birding,
Richard Aracil
