Samantha Holschbach and I saw the PINK-FOOTED GOOSE at the Kings Park High School baseball field at 10:30 AM. It was in a flock of about 120 Canadas.
For over an hour before that we searched Sunken Meadow State Park but did not see a Cackling Goose among the 130 or so Canadas. Most of the Canadas were feeding on the grass bordering the closed parking lot to the east of the park office.
