The Rufous Hummingbird continues on in Staten Island - it
will be a wintering bird according NY's "Kingbird" calendar
and perhaps, a CBC-countable bird, in a few weeks more...

An immature Red-headed Woodpecker has been found in
Clove Lakes Park (not far from the Rufous Hummer site) as

Flocks of up to hundreds of Sandhill Cranes moved thru portions
of the eastern-midwestern states (mainly w. of the Appalachians,
such as in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, & many points south & west)
over the long Thanksgiving holiday - a very modestly-late move.

Currently & recently seen, 2 (separate) MacGillivray's Warblers in
the Boston Massachusetts area, one in Boston & one in Medford!
