No good light to shoot birds today with a camera, so I returned my old hobby, bird watching. Harriman State Park (silvermine area) 200 Plus Robins 100 Cedar Waxwings Tree Sparrows' and a single Barred Owl. Further north on 7 lakes were large flocks of Red-winged blackbirds more Robins, and Waxwings. The highlight of 7 lakes was a flock of 8 Purple Finches. Eagles were present on the western most lake along Mine torne Road. another Barred Owl was found sitting along the foot trail in Black Rock Forest. Finally I watched the Golden Eagle at Storm King...
