Hello All, Yesterday's Quogue to Watermill CBC had one exceptional bird,a Black Guillemot, spotted by Jay Kuhlman and Rich Sautkulis in the narrow inlet of Bullhead Bay that flows into the larger Peconic Bay.They saw it from the northern end of Sebonac Inlet Road which is within the National Golf Links in Southampton.Jay took a number of photos of the bird but I do not have a link at this time.Two other birds of note were an adult Bald Eagle seen by Steve Biasetti and Beth Gustin at Bellows Pond within Sears Bellows Park ,Hampton Bays and a Green Heron seen by Susan and Jim Benson on their territory in Southampton east of Shinnecock Inlet.Good December Birding, Carl Starace
