Hi all, I just received a call from Michael Dwyer. This morning at 7:58am he first heard than saw a Pileated Woodpecker in his backyard on 21st Street between 8th and 9th Aves. The bird then flew across the street towards PS 11. Michael's backyard isn't accessible to the public, but there are lots of trees the street.
