The previously reported Prothonotory Warbler was seen this morning around 8 AM
after an hour's wait. Based on the olive nape and brownish tinge to the
coverts, I think it's a first year male. No vocalizations were heard. This bird
wanders a lot, so patience is required. When found by Seth Ausubel it flew in
from the west side of Fuch's Pond, by Waterside Avenue. After a while it flew
into the trees then to the north side somewhere. Fuch's Pond is in the
southeast corner of Waterside Avenue and Seaside Court, opposite a house with
Wizard of Oz decorations. Parking is on Seaside Court per Jim Osterland's post
