A singing Hooded Warbler in Strawberry Fields was the cherry on top of a fine,
16 warbler species-morning in Central Park, most of which was spent with Morgan
Tingley and Harry Maas.

White-throated and Chipping Sparrows, and Hermit Thrushes were abundant with
50+ individuals of each, while RC Kinglet numbers are way down from earlier in
the week.

Wood Thrush, Veery, and Baltimore Oriole were other new arrivals for me, and I
heard rumors of Scarlet Tanager from Chris Cooper as well. Solitary and
Spotted Sandpiper were also both on Turtle Pond.
