Good birding conditions this morning produced a moderately interesting walk.
Park where it's free at 41.10613115, -73.84438991.
Walking uphill from here, I encountered a pair of Orchard Orioles in the little
cattail marsh on the left soon after the blue "Nature's Way" sign.  Also here a
Northern Waterthrush, Warbling Vireo.  Along Nature's Way, Blue-winged Warbler.
Down at the parking area, taking the path down towards the creek, another male
Orchard Oriole, Yellow Warbler, Baltimore Orioles.
Also around: Redstart, Great-crested Fly, Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted
Grosbeak, Carolina Wren, Catbird, lots of Robins, Hairy Woodpecker, Red-bellied
Woodpecker, Red-winged Blackbird, Grackle, Mourning Dove, Red-tailed Hawk,
White-throated Sparrow, Towhee.
Orchard Orioles are much more common around here than they were, say, fifteen
years ago.
