No Plovers anywheres in the afternoon. As the day went on, Plovers showed at 
the Coast Guard Station itself and then on the spit. Blackbelied too. Then to 
the Swales where 1 Plover showed at 7pm then disappeared. But at least 6 
majestic Oystercatchers in close. Then as it got closer to dark the Plovers, 
and Killdeer and shorebirds came in. Many,many. I searched the road side then 
the oceanside of the Swale to no avail. Many hopefuls were not Wilsons. Then 
they put their heads on their backs and got into the weeds and there was no 
telling what was there. Mosquitoes heavy from mid afternoonresponded to spray - 
thank you Shane Blodgett. Very little mud. No one else showed to share the 
search. No joy. But a nice bird list.
