At the intersection of Grumman Blvd and Line Road, the chain-link fence surrounding the property is broken by a large locked double gate. One can pull off the road at this point and park. This morning (8 Jun) Joe Giunta and I (Sy Schiff) saw and heard several GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS and a singing EASTERN MEADOWLARK. One of the sparrows flew into the fence and stayed there for some time while the meadowlark entertained us.. Neat!
