4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (two 1st-cycle, a 2nd cycle, and a 3rd cycle) were
present along the West End shoreline this evening. Near the jetty an adult
Roseate Tern joined the Common Tern roost but eventually flew off in the
direction of the city beaches. Piping Plover numbers were down and most that
remained were already flocking.

The swale held no shorebirds species around high tide (late afternoon) other
than Semipalmated Plovers and Sanderlings.
