Date: Sept. 22, 2010 Place: Central Park, NYC Reported By: Joe Giunta Our group of 15 birders from the NYC Audubon Wednesday morning walks had an excellent day seeing some 50 species. Our highlights were 14 warblers species including Hooded, Nashville, Parula, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Prairie, Palm, Blackpoll, Black-and-white, Redstart, Ovenbird, N. Waterthrush, and Common Yellow-throat. Other birds of interest were Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers (FOS), White-throated Sparrows (FOS), Scarlet Tanagers, Baltimore Orioles and a few Red-breasted Nuthatches.
