Location: Manhattan - Swindler Cove Park & Sherman Creek
Observers: Maggie Bradley, Ben Cacace
Reported by: Ben Cacace

This upper Manhattan park is situated along the Harlem River at the end of
Dyckman St. & 10th Avenue across the island from Fort Tryon Park.

We birded for nearly 3 hours picking up 30 species including a few familiar
faces. Maggie spotted the male BALTIMORE ORIOLE in the trees above the
children's garden. This is possibly the same bird seen on 13-Nov. It quickly
headed north towards Sherman Creek.

A BROWN CREEPER continues along with one WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH - a female,
1 BELTED KINGFISHER - a male, 5 local RED-TAILED HAWKS, 2 NORTHERN
MOCKINGBIRDS and a pair of DOWNY WOODPECKERS.
