Central Suffolk(County, Long Island) Christmas Bird Count was
postponed from today, Monday, Dec. 27, due to the storm and
conditions. It has been rescheduled for Tues. Dec. 28. The area the
Circle covers is: Grumman/EPCAL/Calverton (north), Cupsogue/Smith
Point County Park (south) Gabreski Airport (east) andYaphank/Middle
Island Country Club (west)
Because of the change, a number of counters are unavailable or unable
to assist. If any LI birders are interested in helping out - or
willing to report even your back-yard birds within the circle, please
contact me directly via email: [email protected]. Please, do
not reply on NY Rarebird.
Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.
