The Queens County Bird Club Inc. will be meeting
at the Alley Pond Environmental Center http://www.alleypond.com/
at 8pm on Wednesday February 16 { the third Wednesday of the month}
Our Speaker will be ED LAM, Naturalist, Artist, and Author
doing a presentation on Butterflies, Damselflies, and Dragonflies
Ed Lam is a freelance editorial and natural science illustrator with
fine art degrees from the Cooper Union and the School of Visual Arts. He
wrote and illustrated "Damselflies of the Northeast", a guide to the
species of eastern Canada and the northeastern United States" and is
currently preparing the Peterson Field Guide to North American
Dragonflies. He lives in Eastchester, NY with his wife, two boys and
another son on the way.
He will bring extra copies of his Damselfly book for those who are
interested.
