We arrived too late at Belmont Lake in Suffolk County to see many geese of any type but a search of the cemeteries in the area turned up the four Greater White-fronted Geese at Pinelawn Cemetery. They were with a flock of maybe 30 Canadas grazing in the grass on the west side of Wellwood Avenue and north of Long Island Avenue.
