Hi All, Got a late call from Dick Belanger who hiked Terrell River County Park in Center Moriches yesterdays. He had a Hermit Thrush, 5 Eastern Towhee's, 6 Cedar Waxwings and a flock of close to 100 American Robins. Come on Spring! On the weekend my group of Rich Kaskan, Joe Lynch, Al Scherzer, Sally Swain and Dick Belanger had 25 Common Redpolls, an Eastern Meadowlark, 3 Horned Grebes, several of both Loons, 30 BB Plover, 12 Dunlin and 150+ Common Eider down at Moriches Inlet,Cupsogue. How about a brand new to science seabird species. Check link below.
