This evening I visited the Lower Peconic Fishing Station in Riverhead (across from Snowflake Ice Cream) with the primary goal of photographing Eastern Kingbirds. While I was doing this I photographed a Black and White Warbler (my first) which perched 20 feet from me for a few moments. Birds that were also seen include; yellow warbler, yellow-rumped warbler, Baltimore Oriole, Northern Rough-winged Swallows, 2 Eastern Kingbirds and Barn Swallows.
