This morning in the fog of the mud flats, two Wilson's Phalarope, feeding in the water mid-way between the "mainland" and the spoil island. Birds were seen between 6:45 and 8:30, when we left. We were unable to find the red-necked stint, which was reported by Carl Starace yesterday.

We did see a solitary sanderling, in breeding plumage, which we spent a bit of time with. Spotted sandpiper and red knots also present in the same general area. Too foggy for terns, and we only saw common tern, least tern, a black skimmer.
