Late afternoon low tide birds at Pikes Beach out front of the viewing stand- 1 Marbled Godwit, 40 Royal Terns.Down the road at Cupsogue mudflats Dick Belanger and I had 9 Royal Terns, 3 Black Terns, and a Clapper Rail. We also found good numbers of Short billed Dowitchers, Ruddy Turnstones, Greater Yellowlegs and a few Red Knots. Good August Birding, Carl Starace
