The best birds were:

AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN: Cohoes Flats 8/17 -- 8/24. Also seen ~1 mile 
upstream from the Flats 8/21.

SNOWY EGRET: New Baltimore 8/20.

BLACK VULTURE: Slingerlands 8/18 (2).

SANDHILL CRANE: Coxsackie 8/21.

CASPIAN TERN: Coxsackie Boat Launch 8/21.


Other notable sightings:

Common Loon: Tomhannock 8/20.

Great Egret: Tomhannock 8/20; Cohoes Flats 8/23.

Osprey: Cohoes Flats 8/22.

Bald Eagle: Cohoes Flats 8/17, 8/22 (2); Lake George 8/21, Coxsackie 
Boat Launch 8/23; Crescent Power Plant 8/23 (2).

Broad-winged Hawk: Old Chatham 8/20; Clapper Hollow SF (Jefferson) 8/20, 
Coxsackie Boat Launch 8/23.

Least Sandpiper: Cohoes Flats 8/21 (10).

Yellow-billed Cuckoo: Swyer Preserve 8/21 (2).

Barred Owl: Saratoga 8/23.

Common Nighthawk: Saratoga 8/17 (3); Colonie 8/17 (22).

Yellow-throated Vireo: Saratoga 8/22.

Carolina Wren: Old Chatham 8/19.

Chestnut-sided Warbler: Saratoga 8/22 (3+).

Black-throated Green Warbler: Saratoga 8/24

Blackburnian Warbler: Saratoga 8/24 (2).

Prairie Warbler: Coxsackie Grasslands 8/20.

Mourning Warbler: Clapper Hollow SF 8/20 (2).

Canada Warbler: Clapper Hollow SF 8/20 (2); Saratoga 8/24.

Scarlet Tanager: Saratoga 8/24.
