It's 7:15 a.m. and I am looking at a pair of juvenile White Ibis on the East Pond of Jamaica Bay WR. They are tucked (resting) on the west side of the pond ~300-400 yards north of the Raunt. I am looking at them from the east side of the pond. Doug Gochfeld can see them from the end of the Big John's Pond overlook path but says it is not an ideal view.
