A fairly nice array of ducks on Eastport pond this AM. Still quite a number of Ring-necked Ducks (~80) along with small numbers of Canvasback (7), Am. Wigeon (~18), Lesser Scaup (4), Gadwall (2) along with Black Duck, Mallard, Ruddy Duck. Along the western shore of the pond toward the north end just before the pond opens up to the northwest "cove" was a Black-crowned Night Heron.
Still a fair amount of shore birds on the Sod field that is at the intersection of Eastport Manor Road and Head of the Neck Road, dozens of Black-bellied Plover along with around a couple dozen Least Sandpipers. Nothing that I could detect at the larger sod fields along Cty Road 51. I had a couple Golden-crowned Kinglets at the Cty Road 51 bike path as well as one Eastern Bluebird.
