On 24 December at 10:30 there was an adult Bald Eagle circling over the West Side Hwy just north of the GWB. In the afternoon the following birds were seen at Buttercup Audubon Sanctuary near Stanfordville NY:
Canada Goose Mallard Bald Eagle 1 juvenile Red-tailed Hawk Red-bellied Woodpecker 1 Pileated Woodpecker 1 American Crow Black-capped Chickadee 2 Tufted Titmouse 1 White-breasted Nuthatch 1 Eastern Bluebird 4 American Robin European Starling White-throated Sparrow On 25 December at noon in the Rolling Thunder Stables pond near the intersection of Salt Point Turnpike (17) and Nottingham Road in Clinton Corners there was a Snow Goose and a Brant in the flock of Canada Geese.
