The Mountain Bluebird returned and provided great view at least through 12 noon
or so. It seems to work along the snow fence row from west to east, then fly
off to parts unknown for longer periods of time.
The snow fencing to watch is along the north side of Rt 25A east of Hulse
Landing Rd. Also in the area this morning- an Eastern Phoebe, at least 5
Eastern Bluebirds and a large mixed flock (60+) of Snow Buntings and Horned
Larks. This flock is hard to see while on the ground but may also inlude
Lapland Longspur.

Better luck today(for me at least)as the bird provided great views for
several borders. As of 10:35 AM, the bird, again, took to a high altitude
distant flight toward the east.
Good luck if you go!

Shai Mitra just called with news that the Mountain Bluebird continues to be
seen nicely on Rt. 25 just east of Hulse Landing Rd. It’s on the north side of
25 along the storm fence.
