Seen mid-day, near backstop of southernmost ball field along the Hudson
(west of rr tracks), in with the usual largish flock of House Sparrows.

Subject: [nysbirds-l] Washington Heights Dickcissel present as of 7AM 12/24

The dickcissel was still in with a sizable group of house sparrows at Inwood
Hill park just as described by Tom Fiore in yesterday's summary email. I was
there this morning (Xmas eve) just as it was getting light, and found the
bird about 150 yards north of Dyckman St in shrubs along the fenceline (the
black cast iron fence dividing the train tracks from the park).
Happy holidays to all!
