Seen mid-day, near backstop of southernmost ball field along the Hudson (west of rr tracks), in with the usual largish flock of House Sparrows.

I was there this morning (Xmas eve) just as it was getting light, and found the bird about 150 yards north of Dyckman St in shrubs along the fenceline (the black cast iron fence dividing the train tracks from the park).
