Bill Madigan and I and others saw the Grace's Warbler at 9:30 am narrowly escape the talons of a striking Merlin! After the scare he flew out of sight into the thick cover of the pines. Happy to say he wasn't harmed but probably spooked for a while! Vicki Daraio
