I just visited "New Alley Pond" in Queens County (the pond adjacent to the LIE and Douglaston Pkwy. I observed 3 Wilson's Snipe at the south end of the pond and 4 Ring-necked Ducks, 4 Green Winged Teal, 2 Buffleheads and a Pied-billed Grebe. Alas, no Pink-footed Goose (or any other geese). John J.
